minutesI love this recipe. It's a great alternative to eggs in the morning. You can add anything that you like to your bowl. I like to add fruit like berries and nuts (for extra protein).
Ingredients
1 Cup cooked quinoa
1 -1.5 cups fruit (berries are great)
2 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
2 Tbsp of pecans, walnuts or almonds
Optional
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp male syrup
Directions
- Cook the quinoa per the directions on the package. (I like to cook a large batch of quinoa and use it throughout the week)
- Use 1 Cup of the quinoa for each bowl
- Add your favorite fruit. I love berries in this recipe.
- Add your favorite seeds and nuts. I love pecans and pumpkin seeds.
- If you like add butter to your bowl and add 1 tbsp of maple syrup for a touch of sweetness
