Passionflower Lavender Splash

Passionflower is one of my favorite herbs, and I find that sometimes it’s under rated. According to the Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine, one of passionflower’s main actions is sedative. Some people find that it’s helpful when trying to rest or sleep. It’s also a well known herb for insomnia. The passionflower flower itself is incredibly beautiful, however the leaves and stem are what is typically used in a tea.

If you don’t grow passionflower in your yard, you can buy it in bulk for an herb shop. Here’s one suggestion if you’re having a hard time finding it.

For this mocktail we’re going to use relaxing passionflower and soothing lavender. Passionflower is known for being a soothing herb that can support the body in relaxation. What more can you ask for in a mocktail.
