Try this non-alcoholic margarita with fish tacos or carnitas for an amazing meal at home.
Craving a margarita without the tequila? I’ve got you covered! This alcohol-free mocktail delivers all the tangy, citrusy satisfaction of a margarita, minus the hangover. Combines the unexpected freshness of mint tea with vibrant citrus notes and natural ingredients to create a drink that’s equally perfect for Taco Tuesday, summer entertaining, or any moment you want something special in your glass.
What makes the Not-A-Rita truly marvelous? Unlike sugary sodas or one-note fruit juices, this mocktail offers layers of flavor that result in a drink that tastes extremely similar to a margarita.
The foundation starts with cooled mint tea, which brings an herbaceous freshness and subtle earthiness that mimics especially on warm days. The citrus component is where this mocktail really shines. Fresh lime juice delivers that essential tart punch that defines any great margarita-inspired drink, and a touch of simple syrup rounds out the flavor profile.
The difference is remarkable, giving you that bright, just-picked taste that makes each sip feel like sunshine in a glass.
But here’s what sets the Not-A-Rita apart from other mocktails: it’s crafted with intention. Every ingredient serves a purpose, working together to create a balanced beverage that tastes like a craft cocktail, not a compromise. There’s nothing artificial here! No synthetic flavors, no neon colors, just pure, natural ingredients that happen to be better for your body and your mind.
For your next taco night try this Not-A-Rita recipe. I swear it tases so much like a margarita that you will be sufficiently tricked into thinking you’re having one.
