I love a beignets and Louisiana is the place to get them. I’ve tried 2 places for biggest and I’ve loved them both.
Beignet Baton Rouge is an adorable cage with beignet flights where you can sample beignets with 3 different sauces.
Coffee Call is another great option for beignets. It’s open late and the beignets aremade fresh.
Mobile, AL
If you’re looking for a great place to stay, try the Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel and Spa. This historic hotel is right off of highway 10, making it the perfect location.
Orlando, FL
Vito’s Chop House is such a great find! It has old school steak house food with an Italian vibe. It is seriously so hard to choose from all of the delicious food on the menu.
Charleston, SC
A great breakfast place is Virginia’s on King. The large shareable cinnamon roll is AMAZING! There are also other southern favorites such a grits and chicken and waffles.
Myrtle Beach, SC
Toffino’s in Myrtle Beach is a legit old school Italian deli. It reminded me of my youth and the Italian deli that I worked at when I was in high school. Their pizza is amazing and their pastries are DEILICIOUS.
They have chocolate cannoli (and I mean chocolate like the shells are covered in chocolate) that is SO delicious that I ordered them more than once during our trip. My kids also loved their cookies. I had an almond horseshoe. It was like an almond cookie filled with almond paste and covered with slivered almonds and dipped in chocolate. Uh, yummm!
