Classic Caprese

The Caprese, also known as the Caprese Salad, is a classic Italian dish. This is primarily served in the summer when the tomatoes are at their peak.  You can use store-bought tomatoes but there’s something really special about heirloom tomatoes. Those are my favorite tomato, especially for caprese.
